SkyPilot helps the system administrators to have the installation and deploying of a network a lot easier than it is. It gives the ability to effectively monitor and manage the network.

Two components of SkyPilot Software are:

1. SkyProvision

SkyProvision is an easy unit configuration and provisioning system software running in all SkyPilot equipments. It runs over an intelligent protocol, featuring traffic management and prioritization enabling automatic link formation and detecting the shortest route. SkyProvision supports Virtual - LANS.

SkyProvision software employs automatic provisioning devices by using DHCP, HTTP, and a MySQL device.

2. SkyControl

SkyControl provides assistance for network monitoring and management operating in two modes (manual and automatic). This functions like an Element Management System that manages all nodes in the network from one command center.

• Command Line Interface involves in real-time troubleshooting and provides with detailed and accurate debug information. These are accessible by standard remote access method via Telnet or by serial (SkyGateway and SkyExtender).
• SNMP implemented in all devices is used for proactive monitoring. It provides graphical interfaces for tracking link topology, mesh routing and performance statistics.
